By now I bet you are all wondering if I am ever going to leave the country! (or at least get off the continent)
And the answer is...
I've been accepted to a program (actually two programs) in Thailand. One is to teach English and the other is to work in a national park or on some sort of Eco-Tourist program.
I have to admit I'm terrified!
But I think I'm going to go! Ironically, just as I am getting ready to go, things here in San Diego are picking up. There are a lot of (possibly paying) positions working in education and/or exhibits in the S.D. museums. I'm torn!

Have you been to the Meeting in the area. I know folks in the LA area and find them to be very wonderful. I wonder about doing a clearness committee. Might be too much to ask a group you don't know. But if God is in the process, incite may be made.

beeeeesides - if you dont like it you can just pull up and go over to the next country, no harm done. quittin a job or two in thailand isnt gonna keep you from getting more volunteer work in america if you ever come back! pulease.

One of my math teachers did something like that in Africa and she says it was a fantastic experiance!!
